A visit of the Tokushukai Medical Corporation Officials to MUHAS |

Following the Vice Chancellor’s visit to Japan and discussions with Dr. Tokuda Torao, the Chairman of Tokushukai Medical Corporation (TMC) on establishing and managing a hospital facility at the Mloganzila campus, a delegation of four senior officials from TMC visited the University on July 9, 2007 for further discussions and also to see the proposed site for this hospital. This delegation was able to talk to the senior officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, visited the Mloganzila site and conducted discussions with the Committee of Deans and Directors at the University. The team was very impressed with the site and the development plans and agreed to follow up the issue of preparing a business plan for the construction of the hospital and the financing of this project. The delegation comprised of the Tokushukai Medical Corporation Executive Director Mr. Noso Katsuyuki, the Chief Architect Mr. Mogari Nobuo, the administrator Mr Narita Masahiko and the Representative of Africa Dr. Mwanatambwe Milanga
