The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) Convocation Committee would like to invite its esteemed Alumni to its second convocation planned to take place on the 30th November 2017 at MUHAS – Graduation Square. to register click here

The term “Convocation” signifies the whole body of all graduates of the University and the management of MUHAS continues to specify that its graduates form a constituent part of the University as Alumni. The MUHAS Convocation is a statutory organ established under article 23 of the MUHAS Charter, 2007. The aim of the Convocation is to bring together its members and provide avenues for graduates to retain their links with the University and its faculties and schools, to provide feedback to the University on matters of concern to graduates and to foster the advancement and recognition of the University.  Linkage between the Committee of Convocation and the newly formed Alumni Council will provide an important route for graduate input to the advancement of the University.

The second convocation activities will include a symposium whose theme is “Building capacity for resilient health systems: the role of Universities of Health”; and the second annual general meeting of Alumni.
